Your day starts in Paris, where you meet your guide and travel together to Versailles by train. All tickets are included, and from the moment you meet, your guide takes the lead — so parents can switch off, relax and enjoy the day instead of worrying about logistics.
Once in Versailles, you hop on bikes and ride straight to the Palace. With priority access, you skip the long lines and head inside while everyone is fresh and excited. Your guide brings the kings, queens and scandals of Versailles vividly to life with storytelling that keeps everyone engaged — from curious kids to history-loving adults. It’s lively, memorable and never feels like a lecture.
Then the day opens up. You’ll wander through the colourful local market to pick up fresh baguettes, cheeses, fruit and pastries before biking through the vast royal grounds for a picnic. Ride along tree-lined paths, discover hidden corners most visitors miss, and enjoy lunch by the Grand Canal with beautiful views all around. You’ll also visit the hidden hamlet of Marie-Antoinette — her fairytale village tucked away deep within the estate.
Families love the balance of this experience: iconic sights mixed with fresh air, movement and plenty of moments to simply enjoy being together. The pace is relaxed, the riding is easy, and there’s lots of time for photos, laughs and little discoveries along the way. Our Versailles Bike Tour meets at: Gare Montparnasse, 17 Boulevard de Vaugirard, 75015 Paris. We meet under the Platform 20/21 sign, in Hall 1. Your guide will be wearing a bright green lanyard and holding a green sign with 'Boutique Tours Meeting Point' written on it.
