"Family time" is one of the most important things in life, yet it's also one of the most difficult things to make happen. Here is a great schedule for a day of fun in the Flatiron district in New York City, the entire path is a walking distance! The Flatiron District is home to some of the coolest family-friendly activities in NYC. Start at the National Museum of Mathematics

After the Museum Visit, Take a Short Break and Take Some Photos of the The Flatiron Building

The Flatiron Building is a beautiful architectural landmark that not only has an amazing history, but also some great features. Located on Broadway between Fifth Avenue and Broadway, near Madison Square Park. This building is located in the heart of Manhattan and has a unique iron shape that makes it recognizable from far away. It has been featured in many movies like Men In Black III and Spider-Man II, and will prove an amazing backdrop for your Instagram posts!

Then, Grab a Snack at Krispy Kreme


at 36 E 23rd St

A quick stop for a snack at Krispy Kreme. They make their Original Glazed Doughnut the way no other place does.

Krispy Kreme is one of the most popular doughnut chains in the world, with over 1,000 stores in 26 countries. Their Original Glazed Doughnut is what they are best known for and it tastes different from any other doughnut you will have ever taste.

Continue to the Harry Potter Store

The Harry Potter store is a place where you can feel the magic and be a part of it. It has several immersive experiences that transports you to Hogwarts and allows you to explore its iconic locations, including Dumbledore’s office, the Gryffindor common room, and the Great Hall.


The place offers amazing VR games that every kid would love. In “Chaos at Hogwarts”, you will step into Hogwarts Castle and keep an eye out as you walk around the Gryffindor and Slytherin Common Rooms. You may just discover familiar friends and hidden secrets. In “Wizards take Flight”, you take flight into the wizarding world on your own broom and battle Death Eaters over the city of London, casting spells with your wand.


Also, don’t forget to go inside the candy-colored Honeydukes-inspired sweet shop, where you can get a taste of all the magical Harry Potter treats, like Fizzing Whizzbees and Peppermint Toads.


Next, Continue to the Union Square Green Market


at Union Square W &, E 17th St.

Located on the south side of Union Square, the New York City Greenmarket is a year-round market that offers a variety of products ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to heritage meats and award-winning cheeses. The Greenmarket is open every day but Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday - the three days that are busiest.


Don't Miss the CAMP Family Experience

at 110 5th Avenue

This store is a unique combination of a gaming space that kids love and an actual toy store. At the 5th avenue location, you’ll have an immersive Disney Encanto experience: a real-life Casita, complete with secret passages, interactive magic, live music, and surprises behind every magic door.


From Antonio’s rainforest to Isabela’s floral wonderland and Luisa’s happy place, CAMP’s Disney Encanto experience is bursting with magical fun. Oh, and we don’t talk about this, but you might see Bruno’s room, too!


And The Last Stop: Max Brener

at 841 Broadway

At this huge cafe and store that feels like Willy Wonka, kids can enjoy hot chocolates with choices like Oreos, Peanut Butter, and more.

The store is located on the first floor of the Westfield World Trade Center mall in New York City. It has a huge selection of hot chocolate flavors including Oreo, Peanut Butter, Mint Chocolate Chip, Coconut Bliss, and many more!

This is a great place for kids to explore their creativity with different flavor combinations.
