"Night at the Museum" is a comedy adventure film directed by Shawn Levy and released in 2006. The movie stars Ben Stiller as Larry Daley, a down-on-his-luck divorced father who takes a job as a night security guard at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
When the exhibits come to life at night, Larry finds himself dealing with a host of historical and cultural figures, including a mischievous monkey, a wax statue of President Theodore Roosevelt, and a group of ancient Egyptian mummies. Along the way, he teams up with a friendly museum guide played by Carla Gugino and battles against a rival museum security guard played by Dick Van Dyke.

"Madagascar" is an animated comedy movie that was released in 2005. It was produced by DreamWorks Animation and directed by Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath. The film tells the story of four Central Park Zoo animals: a lion named Alex (voiced by Ben Stiller), a zebra named Marty (voiced by Chris Rock), a giraffe named Melman (voiced by David Schwimmer), and a hippopotamus named Gloria (voiced by Jada Pinkett Smith).
When Marty the zebra decides he wants to experience life outside the zoo, he and his friends accidentally get shipped off to Madagascar instead of a wildlife preserve in Kenya. The group finds themselves adjusting to life in the wild, with Alex struggling to control his instincts as a predator, and the others learning to adapt to their new surroundings.
