The Vessel is a large interactive public sculpture located in Hudson Yards.
The Vessel consists of 154 flights of stairs, 80 landings, and 2,500 steps, all connected by a series of platforms that offer stunning views of the surrounding area. The sculpture is made of polished copper-colored steel and rises 16 stories high, or 150 feet (45 meters).
Visitors are allowed to climb The Vessel's stairs for free, although tickets are required and must be reserved in advance. Once at the top, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Hudson River, the New York City skyline, and the surrounding area.
