What Makes This a Great Family-Friendly Activity?

This unique playground in the 19th district offers a wealth of play and activity opportunities. Building huts and hideaways, ball games, scavenger hunts, treasure hunts, outdoor games, nature observation, planting vegetables, and much more. Abundant greenery, trees, plants, slopes, hidden spots, and secret paths make this "island" a paradise for adventurous children. Experiencing nature through play is a key focus.

The playground is free to access during opening hours and is supervised by recreational educators from the Vienna Children's Friends. Groups of 8 to a maximum of 20 children are requested to register in advance. Outside of opening hours, the playground can be booked exclusively for private children's events and environmental programs. Not only schools, after-school groups, and kindergartens are welcome, but families can also celebrate their child's birthday here by reservation (please note: information sheet for private parties, see downloads below).
